Egg Tart recipes - Halal

1. Egg Tart ‘Cream of Creams’

Ingredients

125 gr  Castor sugar
250 ml  Water
100 ml  Halal ‘Golden Cream’ by Cream of Creams
5 pc      Whole eggs

Procedure

Boil the castor sugar and water together untill the sugar is dissolved
and let it cool down.

Mix the sugar mixture, the eggs and ‘Golden Cream’
Strain to remove bubbles and lumps.

Fill tart shells and bake off for 20 minutes at 180 C
Glace filling after cooling down.
 

2. Portuguese egg tart

Ingredients

600 ml      Halal ‘Golden Cream’ by Cream of Creams
200 gm     Castor sugar
5 pc          Egg white
5 pc          Egg yolk

Procedure

Heat ‘Golden Cream’ to about 50 C
Dissolve the sugar and cool down.
After cooling mix with egg white and egg yolk
Strain the mixture to remove bubbles and lumps
Fill the tart shells and bake for 20 min at 200 C.

FHA 2012 Fair in Singapore
